Qld:Woman found dead with stab wounds, man charged with murder

BRISBANE, Dec 21 AAP - A 53-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman was found stabbed to death in a central Queensland house.
Police responded to a triple-zero call in Mackay around 11.50pm (AEST) on Saturday, where they found a woman's body inside a Pheasant Street house.
A young baby also found inside the house was uninjured and is now in the care of family.
The man is due to face Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday morning on one count of murder.
